What we use
Daguerre uses strictly necessary and functional cookies, plus optional analytics cookies on the public landing page only. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We also load Sentry in-browser for error reporting. Sentry does not set any cookies; it only sends a report when something goes wrong, with your email, IP, request bodies and any media URLs scrubbed first. Session replays are off by default and only triggered on an error, with all text masked and all media blocked. See the Privacy Policy for the sub-processor entry.
Cookies in use
daguerre-lang — stores your selected language (functional, ~1 year). better-auth.session_token — keeps you signed in (strictly necessary, session/30 days). daguerre-theme — local preference for light/dark theme (stored in localStorage, not a cookie). daguerre-consent — remembers your analytics choice (functional, stored in localStorage). _ga, _ga_4NXBZVSNTZ — Google Analytics 4, only set after you accept (analytics, up to 2 years).
Analytics and consent
On the landing page we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. Analytics is loaded with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied by default — no analytics cookies are written and no measurement data is sent until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics data is collected. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and may transfer aggregated data to Google LLC in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. The signed-in application (dashboard, galleries, bookings, contracts, invoices, etc.) does not load Google Analytics.
Your choices
You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data for daguerre.app in your browser — the consent banner will appear again on your next visit. Clearing the session cookie will sign you out. You can also opt out of Google Analytics globally by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.
