Who we are

Daguerre is a studio-management tool for photographers. The data controller is the Daguerre operator (see Imprint). Contact: privacy@daguerre.app.

What we collect

Account data (name, email) from Google sign-in. Studio data you enter (clients, bookings, contracts, invoices, gallery images). Billing data through Polar Software Inc. (our payments provider and Merchant of Record). Email delivery metadata through Resend. Server logs (IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. Error telemetry through Sentry — only when something goes wrong — with email, IP, request bodies, and media URLs scrubbed before the event leaves your browser or our server.

Lawful basis

Performance of contract for service delivery; legitimate interests for security and product improvement; consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies, marketing emails).

Sub-processors

Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Polar (payments and Merchant of Record), Resend (email delivery), Google (sign-in), Sentry (error telemetry with PII scrubbing), better-auth (session management). A current list is available on request.

Retention

Account and studio data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to meet legal and tax obligations. You may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact privacy@daguerre.app to exercise them. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

International transfers

Some sub-processors may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
